High School Students: NHA Provisional Certification
Effective October 1, 2026, NHA allows an 18-month provisional certification period for CCMA, CPT, CMAA, CET, CEHRS, CBCS, and CPCT/A. A current high school or GED student may be eligible to test before graduation when the expected graduation/completion date is within 18 months of the date the student passes the exam. For Pharmacy Technician (ExCPT/CPhT), the period is 12 months.
After graduation, NHA-accepted proof of graduation must be submitted to convert the provisional credential to full certification. All other program, clinical, and exam eligibility requirements still apply.
You can begin the program at any time and attend the school lab on scheduled dates.
After completing the registration process, our student support team will contact you to confirm your lab schedule.
Admission requirements may vary by program. Please review the details before starting your registration.
