CNA Program Admission Process

The CNA program at DMS Care Training Center operates in accordance with Texas Health & Human Services (THHS) regulations and is an officially approved NATCEP (Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program) training provider.
To ensure safe and high-quality clinical training and proper preparation for the Texas state exam, the admission process is conducted step-by-step and includes a document review and background check.

Enrollment Notice
Your application will be considered complete only after both the application form submission (with required documents) and the $50 application fee payment have been completed. Once both steps are finished, the school will begin reviewing your application and conducting the background check.

CNA Program Admission Steps

  1. Submit the online application form.
During the application process, you will also upload the required documents. These include identification, educational records, and any required TWC-related documents. All required document upload sections are included within the application form.
  2. Pay the $50 application fee.
Once both the application form and application fee payment are completed, the school will review your submission and proceed to the next step.
  3. The school will review your documents and conduct a background check.
Because this program is regulated under the NATCEP guidelines, a background check is required before clinical training can be scheduled.
  4. If approved, the school will notify you and confirm your clinical schedule.
Our staff will contact you to confirm the clinical training schedule and coordinate available clinical placement dates.
  5. After approval, you may proceed with the tuition payment.
Once tuition payment instructions are provided by the school, you may complete the tuition payment to finalize your enrollment.
  6. You may begin classes after the tuition payment is completed.
After tuition payment is confirmed, you will gain access to the course and may begin participating in both online and in-person classes. The program will then proceed through classroom instruction → skills lab → clinical training → Texas CNA state exam preparation.

Important Notice
• Both the application form submission and the $50 application fee payment must be completed before the background check can begin.
• Please do not pay tuition until you receive approval and scheduling confirmation from the school.
