AHA ACLS Renewal Course
Need to renew your ACLS card? Complete a short online pre-course at home and finish your certification with a brief in-person session. Same-day AHA ACLS Provider certification issued.
This course is a renewal (recertification) blended program designed for healthcare professionals who already hold an ACLS certification. It combines online pre-course learning with in-person review, testing, and hands-on skills evaluation. Upon successful completion, the official AHA ACLS certification is issued the same day.
What is ACLS Renewal?
ACLS Renewal (Recertification) is an advanced refresher training program developed by the American Heart Association (AHA) for healthcare professionals who need to maintain their ACLS certification. The course focuses on reinforcing core skills such as cardiac rhythm recognition, advanced airway management, emergency medications, and team-based resuscitation. It is intended for experienced providers such as nurses, physicians, and emergency medical personnel who are already familiar with ACLS protocols.
Course Overview
- Total Duration: Approximately 8 hours
- Format: 4 hours online pre-course + 4 hours in-person review, testing, and skills evaluation
- Certification: AHA ACLS Provider certification issued the same day
How the Course Works
The course is completed in three steps to help experienced providers efficiently renew their certification.

Step 1: Online Pre-Course (4 hours)
Students must complete the required online pre-course before attending. The pre-course is provided at no additional cost, and access instructions will be sent after payment is completed. -
Step 2: Video Lecture & Written Exam (3.5 hours)
Students attend the session for ACLS review, instructor-led content, and the written certification exam. -
Step 3: Hands-On Skills & Mega Code (0.5 hour)
Students complete hands-on skills testing and participate in a Mega Code scenario as part of the practical evaluation.
Class Schedule
Available Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday
Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM or 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Appointment required)
Important Notes
- This course is intended for students with a current or recently expired ACLS certification.
- The online pre-course must be completed before attending the in-person session.
- Pre-course access instructions will be provided after payment is confirmed.
- No separate registration fee is required.
