This course is designed for students who have already completed the Texas CNA 60-hour theory training and now need to complete the required 40-hour clinical training plus focused skills exam preparation for state certification.

Course Information
- Clinical Training: 40 hours total
- Hospital Clinical Site: Carrollton, Texas (5 days)
- Skills Exam Preparation: 2 days of hands-on practice and test preparation
- Schedule: Dates provided after enrollment (appointment/schedule required)
* This is a clinical-only course. Students must complete the 60-hour theory training before enrolling.
What You Will Practice
- State skills exam practice (step-by-step performance, critical steps, and timing)
- Infection control, safety, and communication
- Vital signs and basic patient care skills (as required on the Texas skills exam)
- Clinical workflow support in a hospital setting under supervision

- Clinical placement is arranged in Carrollton, TX.
- Attendance is required for all scheduled days to receive completion documentation.
- Students may be required to submit facility compliance documents (e.g., immunizations, TB test) based on clinical site policy.
