DMS Care Training – 2026 School Schedule 

Start Anytime! Our flexible schedules allow students to begin their programs as soon as they’re ready.

Hybrid Format: Online Learning + Hands-On Practice

  • CNA, PCT & CCMA Programs: 4–10 days of hands-on training
  • Phlebotomy (CPT): Complete 40 successful blood draws
  • AHA BLS (CPR): Required before or after your skill session

School Hours

Monday – Saturday | 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM
(Varies by program)

CNA (Certified Nurse Aide) Program

Hybrid
  • Format: Hybrid (Online + In-person lab & clinical)
  • Start Dates: 1st & 3rd Monday of each month
  • Duration: 2 weeks per session
  • Lab Schedule: Tuesday & Thursday | 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM (2 total days)
  • Optional Skill Review: Saturday | 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Clinical Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (5 days)
  • Clinical Sites: Carrollton Regional Medical Center / Mustang Park Therapy & Living Center

CPT (Phlebotomy Technician)

  • Format: Online theory + in-person lab
  • Lab Schedule: Friday PM | 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM
  • Requirement: Complete 40 successful blood draws
  • Start: Start anytime – self-paced

CET (EKG Technician)

  • Format: Online theory + in-person lab
  • Lab Schedule: Friday AM | 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM

PCT (Patient Care Technician)

  • Format: Online theory + 4 lab days + 5-day CNA clinical
  • Join CNA Lab: Tuesday & Thursday | 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Join CCMA Lab: Friday AM | 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM
  • Clinical: Week 2 | Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

CCMA (Clinical Medical Assistant)

  • Format: Online theory + 2 in-person lab sessions
  • Lab Schedule: Friday AM | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Note: 5-day externship NOT required after completing labs (based on clinic availability).

Korean In-Person Class – CCMA & PCT (Optional)

  • Schedule: Monday & Wednesday | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • If fewer than 4 students: class is delivered via Zoom 1x/week

Holiday Closures

  • November 27: Thanksgiving (No Lab or Clinical)
  • December 25: Christmas (No Lab or Clinical)
  • December 1: New Year's Day

Hospital Clinical Practice Guidelines (CNA & PCT)

  • Uniform: Navy scrubs, closed-toe, non-slip shoes
  • Grooming: Hair tied back, minimal jewelry, clean nails
  • ID Badge: Wear DMS photo ID at all times
  • Attendance: Arrive on time; emergencies must be reported
  • Conduct: Be respectful, professional, and engaged
  • Confidentiality: No patient info sharing; phones off unless approved
  • Documentation: Complete clinical journals, logs, and facility paperwork
