Our Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) training program in Dallas, Texas prepares students with the knowledge, hands-on training, and clinical experience needed to pursue Texas nurse aide certification and begin work in entry-level healthcare settings.

  • The Texas Nurse Aide certification exam is administered through Prometric.
  • The exam includes two parts: a Written Exam and a Skills Exam.
  • Students must successfully pass both parts to become listed on the Texas Nurse Aide Registry.

Skills Lab and Clinical Training

Hands-on training is an essential part of the CNA program. Students complete scheduled skills lab training before moving into clinical training.

After enrollment, students should book required lab training through the Skill Schedule page to choose an available session.

Clinical training is scheduled separately and is completed according to clinical site availability and program scheduling requirements.

Admission Requirements

  • No maximum age requirement
  • High school diploma or GED is not required for enrollment
  • Government-issued photo ID or passport
  • Social Security Number (SSN) or ITIN
  • Vaccination records may be required for clinical participation, including MMR, TB, TDaP, and HepB
  • Background check required and may be completed by the school
  • AHA BLS (CPR) certification required prior to graduation or clinical participation
  • Additional clinical-site compliance documents may be required depending on facility policy
