Attendance Policy
- Students may not miss more than 20% of the total scheduled program hours.
- Students who exceed 10% of total scheduled hours in absences will be placed on attendance probation.
- Make-up work may not exceed 5% of the total program hours.
- All absences and make-up hours must be documented and approved by the school.
Students whose enrollment is terminated due to unsatisfactory progress, attendance, or conduct may apply for readmission after one grading period or term has elapsed. Readmission is granted at the discretion of the School Director and does not circumvent or alter the school’s approved refund policy.
Student Conduct Policy
Students are expected to maintain professional, respectful, and ethical behavior at all times while enrolled at DMS Care Training Center.
Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:
- Academic dishonesty (cheating, plagiarism, falsification of records)
- Disruption of classroom, lab, or clinical instruction
- Unsafe or negligent behavior during lab or clinical practice
- Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct toward students, staff, or patients
Disciplinary actions may include written warnings, probation, suspension, or termination, depending on the severity and frequency of the violation.
