A Phlebotomy Technician is a healthcare professional responsible for collecting and managing blood specimens in hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, and blood donation centers.
This program is designed to develop hands-on phlebotomy skills and prepare students for national certification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens
  • Process blood samples and follow safety protocols
  • Communicate with patients and provide pre- and post-procedure instructions
  • Complete documentation and maintain infection control standards

  • Program Length: 12 weeks
  • Delivery Format: Online theory + 1 day of hands-on phlebotomy training
  • Hands-On Requirement: 40 successful blood draws (including mannequin and live practice)
  • Medical English Support: Practical conversational English sessions provided

Certification Exam
  • Six full-length practice exams provided
  • Upon successful completion of the program, students are eligible to take the NHA CPT (Certified Phlebotomy Technician) certification exam
Admission Requirements (Summary)
  • Must be at least 17 years of age
  • Government-issued photo identification
  • High school diploma or college transcript (GED accepted)
  • BLS (CPR) certification must be submitted prior to graduation
