A Phlebotomy Technician is a healthcare professional responsible for collecting and managing blood specimens in hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, and blood donation centers.
This program is designed to develop hands-on phlebotomy skills and prepare students for NHA CPT national certification.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens
- Process blood samples and follow safety protocols
- Communicate with patients and provide pre- and post-procedure instructions
- Complete documentation and maintain infection control standards
Program Information
- Total Program Hours: 120 hours
- Program Length: 12 weeks
- Delivery Format: Hybrid program (online coursework + hands-on phlebotomy lab training)
- Online Coursework: 110 hours
- School Lab Training: 10 hours
- Hands-On Training: Venipuncture, capillary puncture, specimen processing, infection control, and safety procedures

(Online coursework and certification exams are conducted in English; Korean materials are provided to support learning comprehension.)
Tuition Information
- Total Tuition: $1,780
- Tuition includes online coursework, hands-on training, textbooks, materials, lab fees, and liability insurance.
- Registration Fee $50 / AHA BLS (CPR) Certification $65 / Certification exam fee not included
Certification Exam
- Six full-length practice exams provided
- Upon successful completion of the program, students are eligible to take the NHA CPT (Certified Phlebotomy Technician) certification exam
- The NHA CPT exam evaluates phlebotomy procedures, patient identification, specimen handling, infection control, safety standards, medical ethics, and professional communication.
- Exam eligibility and certification requirements are subject to NHA policies.
Admission Requirements (Summary)
- Must be at least 18 years of age, or have parental/guardian consent if under 18
- Government-issued photo identification or passport
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent documentation
- BLS (CPR) certification must be submitted prior to graduation
- Students must pass a criminal background check
