A Pharmacy Technician is a healthcare professional who plays a critical role in safe and accurate medication management by assisting with prescription preparation, inventory control, and data entry in pharmacies and hospital settings.
This program is designed to build practical pharmacy technician skills and prepare students for NHA CPhT national certification.

Tuition Information
  • Total Tuition: $1,700
  • Tuition includes online coursework, textbooks, learning materials, and six full-length practice exams.
  • $50 registration fee / AHA BLS (CPR) certification $95 / Certification exam fee not included

Certification Exam
  • Six full-length practice exams provided
  • Upon successful completion of the program, students are eligible to take the NHA CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) certification exam.
  • The exam covers pharmacy operations, prescription processing, pharmacy calculations, medication safety, and pharmacy law.
  • The exam consists of 120 questions (100 scored questions and 20 pretest questions).
  • Students are given 2 hours and 10 minutes to complete the examination.
  • A minimum scaled score of 390 out of 500 is required to pass.
  • Candidates who do not pass may retake the examination according to current NHA retake policies.
  • The certification is recognized nationwide and may improve employment opportunities in pharmacies, hospitals, long-term care facilities, and other healthcare settings.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age, or have parental/guardian consent if under 18
  • Government-issued photo identification or passport
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent documentation
  • BLS (CPR) certification must be submitted prior to program completion
  • Students must pass a criminal background check
