A Pharmacy Technician is a healthcare professional who plays a critical role in safe and accurate medication management by assisting with prescription preparation, inventory control, and data entry in pharmacies and hospital settings.
This program is designed to build practical pharmacy technician skills and prepare students for national certification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage medication inventory in pharmacy and hospital settings
  • Receive prescription requests and enter prescription data
  • Assist with medication preparation and dosage measurement
  • Maintain patient records and support insurance billing processes

  • Tuition includes online coursework, NHA registration, and six full-length practice exams.
  • $50 registration fee / AHA BLS (CPR) certification $95 / Exam fee not included
Certification Exam
  • Upon successful completion of the program, students are eligible to take the NHA ExCPT (Pharmacy Technician Certification) exam
Admission Requirements (Summary)
  • Must be at least 17 years of age
  • Government-issued photo identification
  • High school diploma or GED
  • BLS (CPR) certification must be submitted prior to program completion
