This program is designed to build practical medical billing and coding skills and prepare students for the NHA CBCS national certification.

Certification Exam
- Six full-length practice exams provided
- Upon successful completion of the program, students are eligible to take the NHA CBCS (Certified Billing & Coding Specialist) certification exam.
- The exam evaluates medical billing, insurance processing, coding concepts, reimbursement procedures, compliance, and healthcare administrative functions.
- This certification may support employment opportunities in clinics, hospitals, medical billing offices, insurance-related healthcare settings, and healthcare administrative departments.
Admission Requirements (Summary)
- Must be at least 18 years of age, or have parental/guardian consent if under 18
- Government-issued photo identification or passport
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent documentation
- BLS (CPR) certification must be submitted prior to program completion
