Home Health Aide (HHA)는 가정이나 장기요양 시설에서 기본적인 개인 위생 관리와 일상생활 지원을 제공하는 보건의료 직종입니다. 이 역할은 일반적으로 간병인(caregiver)과 유사하며, 재가 돌봄 서비스가 확대되면서 수요가 지속적으로 증가하고 있습니다.
* 본 과정은 텍사스 노동위원회(Texas Workforce Commission, TWC)에서 승인한 자격 프로그램이며, 텍사스 거주자만 등록 및 수료증 발급이 가능합니다.
* 이 수료증은 홈헬스 기관(home health agencies) 및 재가 돌봄 서비스 제공 기관에서 일반적으로 요구되는 자격입니다.
* 수료증 발급 기관: DMS Care Training Center
* 프로그램 승인 기관: Texas Workforce Commission (TWC)
주요 업무 (Primary Responsibilities)
- 개인 위생 관리 및 일상생활 활동(ADLs, Activities of Daily Living) 지원
- 기본 활력징후(Vital Signs) 측정 및 환자 상태 변화 관찰
- 이동 보조, 체위 변경, 간단한 관절 가동 범위 운동(ROM) 지원
- 감염 예방 및 기본적인 환자 안전 관리
프로그램 정보 (Program Information)
- 교육 기간: 2–3주 / 총 교육시간: 85시간
- 교육 방식: Hybrid (온라인 75시간 + 대면 실습 2일)
수료 후 진로 (Completion & Career Path)
- 과정 수료 시 DMS Care Training Center HHA 수료증이 발급됩니다.
- 취업 가능 기관: 홈헬스 기관(Home Health Agencies), Assisted Living, 장기요양 시설(Long-Term Care Facilities)
- DMS Care Training Center는 TWC 승인 교육기관입니다.
입학 자격 (Admission Requirements)
- 연령 제한 없음 (프로그램 정책 기준)
- 정부 발급 사진이 포함된 신분증
- Social Security Number (SSN)
- 고등학교 졸업증 또는 GED
등록 절차 (Admission Process)
등록을 위해서는 온라인 지원서(Application Form) 작성 후 등록비(Registration Fee)를 납부해야 합니다.
두 단계가 모두 완료되어야 최종 등록이 확정됩니다.
