This program is designed to equip students with the practical skills required to work as a Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), with a focus on earning the NHA CCMA certification and securing employment in healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide basic patient care and assist with clinical procedures
  • Perform phlebotomy, injections, and electrocardiograms (EKG)
  • Observe patient conditions and organize test results
  • Enter data into Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and support administrative tasks
  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers
Program Information
  • Program Start: In-person and Zoom classes begin on a scheduled basis (approximately every 3 months)
  • Delivery Format: Hybrid program (online coursework + hands-on practice)
  • On-Campus Skills Training: Injections, phlebotomy, EKG, and dressing care
  • Clinical Externship: Recommended (not required)
  • Medical English Support: Practical conversational English sessions provided (in-person or via Zoom)
Tuition Information
  • Tuition includes textbooks, online coursework, and hands-on training.

  • Registration Fee $50 / AHA BLS (CPR) Certification $95 / Certification exam fee not included
Certification Exam
  • Upon successful completion of the program, students are eligible to take the NHA CCMA (Certified Clinical Medical Assistant) exam
  • Six full-length practice exams provided
Admission Requirements (Summary)
  • Must be at least 17 years of age
  • Government-issued photo ID or passport
  • High school diploma or college transcript (GED accepted)
  • BLS (CPR) certification must be submitted prior to graduation
