This program is designed to provide students with structured clinical training and practical skills required to work as a Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA). The course focuses on building real clinical competency and preparing students for the NHA CCMA certification.
One of the biggest advantages of this program is flexibility. Students can start anytime, complete most of the coursework online, and move through training in a way that works for their school, work, or family schedule.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care and assist with clinical procedures
- Perform phlebotomy, injections, and electrocardiograms (EKG)
- Observe patient conditions and organize test results
- Enter data into Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and support administrative tasks
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers

Tuition Information
- Tuition: $3,800
- Tuition includes textbooks, online coursework, and hands-on training.
- Payment plans available (credit approval required).
- Additional costs: $50 registration fee, $95 AHA BLS (CPR), and the certification exam fee.
- Materials shipping is $12, or pickup near Carrollton, Texas is free.
Certification Exam
- The program prepares students for the NHA CCMA (Certified Clinical Medical Assistant) exam. Students must meet NHA eligibility requirements and pass the exam to earn certification.
- Six full-length practice exams provided
- The exam includes 180 questions (150 scored + 30 unscored) with a 3-hour time limit
ACE Credit Opportunity
Students who pass the NHA CCMA exam may also have an added educational benefit. The CCMA certification may be eligible for college credit through ACE (American Council on Education). Transfer credit is always determined by the receiving institution.
Admission Requirements (Summary)
- High school students may begin training as early as 11th grade. Students under 18 need parent or guardian consent.
- Government-issued photo ID or passport
- High school diploma/GED, or eligibility for the NHA provisional certification pathway based on the expected graduation date
- Current high school students may apply when they meet the applicable NHA provisional certification timeline
- BLS (CPR) certification must be submitted prior to graduation

Designed for high school seniors and college students, this structured summer program allows students to complete training, gain hands-on experience, and prepare for the NHA CCMA certification within a flexible summer schedule.

Enrollment will be processed only after both steps are completed.
After completing your application and paying the $50 registration fee, you can access your online course right away through My Courses. Sign in with the account used for enrollment. The registration fee is separate from the $3,800 program tuition.
High School Students & NHA Provisional Certification
High school students can start in 11th grade. To earn full CCMA certification, graduate within 18 months of passing the exam and submit proof to NHA. Other NHA eligibility requirements apply. Parent or guardian consent is required for students under 18.
Summer Enrollment: Students enrolling for the summer program can complete registration through this page. The course structure remains the same, with a flexible schedule designed for summer completion.
