This program is designed to prepare students with the essential nursing care skills required to work as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) and to successfully obtain state certification.
With Korean language support and extensive hands-on practice, students are fully prepared for employment in real healthcare settings.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Providing basic patient care and personal hygiene assistance
  • Measuring vital signs and observing patient conditions
  • Assisting with patient mobility and ensuring safety
  • Infection control and proper documentation
  • Effective communication with patients and the healthcare team

Program Information
  • Total Training Hours: 110 hours (60 hours online + 40 hours hospital clinical training + 10 hours on-campus skills lab)
  • Clinical & Skills Training:
    • 2 days of on-campus skills training
    • 5 days of required hospital clinical practice
  • Start Schedule: Classes begin on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month
  • Medical English Classes: Practical conversational English sessions provided (in-person or via Zoom)

* Korean-language study materials provided
* Approximately 1,000 CNA practice exam questions included


Tuition Information
  • Tuition includes online coursework, skills training, textbooks, and clinical supplies.
  • Not included: Registration Fee $50 / AHA BLS (CPR) Certification $95 / State Certification Exam Fee

Certification Exam
  • THHS and TWC approved program
  • Upon successful completion, students are eligible to sit for the Texas CNA certification exam

Admission Requirements (Summary)
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Government-issued photo ID or passport
  • Social Security Number (SSN)
  • High school diploma or college transcript (GED accepted) (Education requirement may be waived with proof of 8th-grade level reading and writing proficiency)
  • Immunization records (MMR, TB, TDaP, HepB)
  • AHA BLS (CPR) certification required prior to graduation
