Hands-on training

Students build essential bedside skills such as vital signs, personal care, safe transfers, and mobility assistance. The course emphasizes safety, infection control, proper documentation, and compassionate, patient-centered communication. After completing skills lab training, students apply what they’ve learned during a supervised clinical rotation in a licensed long-term care facility, gaining real-world experience before entering the workforce as Certified Nurse Aides.

Admission requirements
- At least 16 years old
- Vaccination record for clinical (MMR, DTP, HepB)
- HS diploma/GED/college degree (or 8th-grade English proficiency if none)
- Nurse Aide Registry (NAR) check required
- Not listed on EMR; no disqualifying convictions
- Navy scrubs required for clinicals
Tuition
$1,700 total tuition
Registration/Application fee: $50 (not included in tuition)
Scrubs and BLS certification are separate.
